One of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Germany, the Jewish Cemetery in Rat-Beil Strasse in Frankfurt am Main. There are almost 40,000 graves in an area covering 73,800 m². This DVD documents a virtual tour of this impressive cemetery. The graves of the Rothschild family and of the families of the Nobel Prize Winner Paul Ehrlich and the artist Moritz Daniel Oppenheim can be found here, as well as those of many other well-known personalities. The burial ground of the Israelite religious community (which used to be a separate cemetery) or the field of honour for Jewish soldiers who died in the First World War are also illustrated.
